Wi-Fi Connectivity
Most hotels and upscale cafes offer complimentary Wi-Fi, though speeds can vary. If you're on a Nile cruise, be prepared for intermittent signals as the boat moves through more remote stretches of the river.
Electricity & Plugs
Egypt uses Type C and Type F plugs (the two-round-pin European standard). The standard voltage is 220V. If you're coming from North America or the UK, you will need a plug adapter.
Language Basics
